Bai Xiaosheng and Dong Tianlu returned to the business group’s residence; it was already five in the afternoon. The two of them gathered the other ten entrepreneurs who signed with the Yang Corporation to detail the signing situation at Maiwen Transport Company.

Actually, during the negotiations with Mr. Maiwen, Bai Xiaosheng and Dong Tianlu informed everyone of crucial terms through chat software. What they were to discuss now was just a supplement.

The caller was naturally Chen Feiqiu.

Bai Xiaosheng talked to Chen Feiqiu while briskly walking, and under his urging, he called Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying, then went out together to catch a taxi, following the address given by Chen Feiqiu.

There are night markets abroad too.

The taxi carrying Bai Xiaosheng and the others stopped near the destination, at the street entrance, as the driver indicated he could not go further inside without getting stuck.

Looking inside, the street appeared narrow, crowded with people, and no cars could be seen. Indeed, driving further inside would probably cause a deadlock.

The three of them got out of the car and walked inside.

Walking around and searching, they finally found the store Chen Feiqiu mentioned after walking down half the street. Actually, there was no need to look for it deliberately since the white smoke there wafted in the air, and the scent reached them from afar.

It’s the aroma of barbecue.

"Wow, the feeling hits me right away. My stomach is already growling!" Lin Weiwei couldn’t help but exclaim excitedly.

"Restrain yourself, be restrained," Bai Xiaosheng smiled at her.

His words made it seem like being with him meant not having a decent meal or affording meat.

"We haven’t had dinner yet, and now the smell of meat hits me. You’re asking me to be restrained?" Lin Weiwei shook her head, "I can’t do it."

"Anyway, don’t get too excited. You’re drawing too much attention by shouting," Lei Ying humorously reminded her.

There were women on the street, but they were all bundled up tightly. Bai Xiaosheng made Lin Weiwei change into sportswear when they left, a non-revealing outfit. He also gave her a hat to wear, considering safety and convenience.

At the moment, Lin Weiwei’s walking was normal and didn’t attract much attention. But her voice and excitement drew many examining glances around them.

She might attract some misbehaving fellows and cause trouble.

"What’s there to fear," Lin Weiwei wasn’t concerned, "With you two by my side, no one on the whole street dare to mess with me."

Bai Xiaosheng and Lei Ying exchanged amused glances.

It turned out this girl took them as her confidence.

They approached the barbecue place, where many people were already gathered. A three-meter-long grill roared at the wide entrance, with red-hot coal and pieces of meat sizzling and glistening with oil, the smell and smoke permeating the senses, enticing one’s taste buds and tempting the stomach.

Bai Xiaosheng and Lei Ying also suddenly felt hungry; Lin Weiwei, being a meat-lover, had her beautiful eyes gleaming, staring eagerly.

Bai Xiaosheng led the two through the chaotic waiting crowd in front of the grill to the side where a tent was set up, with tables and number plaques corresponding to the seating arrangement.

Bai Xiaosheng scanned around, searching for Chen Feiqiu.

"Unexpectedly, the barbecue stall at this night market has such a sophisticated seating arrangement. It looks quite clean here, and it’s spacious inside. Why does it seem like there aren’t many people? Others are crowding in front of the stall, I see many people eating there," Lin Weiwei curiously remarked.

Lei Ying looked around and affirmed, "Because here it costs money!"

"How do you know?" Lin Weiwei asked, surprised.

"It’s written on a sign there," Lei Ying motioned with his lips, "These are two businesses: one selling barbecue, the other renting out tables."

"Is that even a thing?" Lin Weiwei widened her eyes incredulously.

While they were talking, Bai Xiaosheng spotted Chen Feiqiu, who had also seen him and stood up, waving with a smile.

"This guy knows where to sit, under the lights, or else it would be hard to find him in this environment," Bai Xiaosheng chuckled, making a small joke.

Actually, no matter how dark the environment and despite Chen Feiqiu’s dark complexion, Bai Xiaosheng could swiftly locate him with Red Lotus’s help.

The three walked over.

Chen Feiqiu greeted them with a wide grin, showing a set of neat white teeth, "It’s so hard to invite you guys, Mr. Bai is either too busy to meet or too busy for me to reach."

"But you got us now. Don’t worry, we’ll eat so much you’ll be scared to invite us again," Bai Xiaosheng teased.

"Then you’ll have to treat me," Chen Feiqiu chuckled.

In conversation, the four took seats. Someone came over, respectfully bowed, then handed out menus to each person, all written in Chinese with various types of barbecue, beef, lamb, camel, and some local poultry and livestock meat, even lobster and oysters.

"Is the service here this good?" Lin Weiwei watched as the person who delivered the menu stood respectfully by, and couldn’t help but whisper behind the menu to Bai Xiaosheng, "And there’s a menu in Chinese!"

Bai Xiaosheng wasn’t surprised, he merely smiled, continued perusing the menu, "Money can achieve anything."
