Chapter 491 - 489: Messing With People, But Not Enough to Knock Them Out
Chapter 491 - 489: Messing With People, But Not Enough to Knock Them Out
Immediately, Tang Si turned off the washing machine.
Turning around, he set his gaze on Strong.
At this moment, Strong was restrained, and upon meeting Tang Si’s eyes, he instinctively shrank back.
At first, he underestimated the situation; now, fear was a part of his instinct.
Moreover, he was merely following orders, working for others, and once that person who ordered him had no further commands, he was on his own.
Tang Si slowly approached, half squatting in front of Strong: "Where is the signal jammer on the ship?"
Strong remained silent.
Tang Si squinted slightly: "Really not going to tell?"
Strong looked at him, still silent.
"Alright." Tang Si said: "Do you know who I am? You work for others."
Strong knew, but only that he was a police officer, unaware of his position in the police force.
Strong was a hired gun, doing whatever the payer said, never asking many questions, and the employer would surely not disclose much information to him.
"Clearly, you’ve already been abandoned. If you don’t tell me the location of the signal jammer, getting off this yacht, your life will be over."
Strong: "So what? I belong to another country."
"Another country?" Tang Si laughed: "But the territory you’re in isn’t. What are you proud of? Do you think I can’t handle you?"
"If I wanted you dead without a trace, no one would know it was me, do you believe that?"
"Besides," Tang Si continued, "I have legal means."
"If you cooperate, the situation could be mitigated."
Strong didn’t believe it; his employer had said never to trust anything this man said; it could very well be a trap.
Strong was extremely stubborn; no matter what Tang Si said, he would remain silent.
"Alright." Tang Si said again: "I know you’re not afraid of death. If you were, you wouldn’t have chosen this line of work."
"But I know you certainly don’t want to die this early, or you certainly don’t want a fate worse than death."
He slowly moved to the helm, where there was a dagger.
Holding it, he looked down at Strong: "Do you want to try the taste of being skinned?"
The man’s tone was very slow, his voice linearly calm, revealing no fluctuations.
His whole demeanor was exceedingly indifferent, and those eyes exuded endless cold, his entire being cold-blooded.
Strong was scared, trembling all over, drops of cold sweat trickling down his forehead.
He was terrified, yet truly did not know the exact location of the signal jammer.
"I... I don’t know."
Tang Si pressed the dagger against his face, with a forceful slash, leaving a wound, causing Strong to cry out in pain.
Tang Si was expressionless, his eyes seemingly covered with a thin layer of ice: "Really don’t know?"
In his long, slender hand, he skillfully scraped at the surface, acts both ruthless and absolute by the man who appeared to have a proud and aloof disposition.
There wasn’t a shred of mercy under his hand.
The bone-chilling pain spread through his entire body, Strong almost burst into tears: "I... really don’t know..."
Tang Si laughed, his peach blossom eyes gazing at his face: "Then let’s chop off a finger."
As he spoke, the hand holding the dagger moved slowly down to his finger.
The blade was cold, stained with his facial blood.
His tone was calm: "If you have the ability to watch others bleed, you must bear the consequences of it, don’t you think? Strong."
"Hmm?" Tang Si chuckled, raising an eyebrow with a small but fierce twist of his hand.
"Ah!" Strong screamed.
Immediately, his chest rose and fell, panting, his entire body drenched in sweat.
It was from the pain.
His face was ghastly pale, the sweat seemed to flow almost to the point of exhaustion.
He didn’t really chop off his finger; he merely stabbed in with the dagger tip fiercely.
Bones aren’t that easy to sever.
Tang Si stared at him, eyes on his restrained hands, saying softly: "Your dagger is quite dull, couldn’t you buy a good one?"
"Couldn’t even chop off a finger." Tang Si’s tone was mocking: "No wonder you take jobs like this, should earn more to buy a good one."
Again, his gaze fell on Strong’s face: "Poverty drives people to be fearless, right?"
Tang Si lightly licked his lips, seeming as if he were playing a game, unaware of the actions he took: "I assure you, move my hand just a little, and you won’t keep this finger."
Strong hurt so much he couldn’t speak.
His whole body trembled.
Tang Si: "Three."
"Two."
"One."
"Ah!!!" Strong screamed again.
Tang Si watched in silence, playing with people, but not to the point of letting them pass out.
He allowed him time to recover.
Tang Si: "You are quite stubborn, enduring this much for such little money."
"I believe you earn that little money to live a better life, for a better living."
Tang Si’s voice was pleasant, ringing in anyone’s ear as deep and magnetic.
Gentle yet lazily alluring, calm and steady throughout.
Yet using such a tone, such a voice, to utter the most vicious words.
And carrying out the cruelest acts.
The dagger stained with blood, slowly moved from behind Strong’s restrained hands to the front.
Strong was in such pain he was on the verge of fainting, but Tang Si held him at that point.
He grasped that moment extremely well.
"One of the pleasures of a man living is what?" Tang Si looked at Strong, smiling gently, his voice slow: "Is it women?"
The dagger arrived at Strong’s lower region.
Tang Si lightly tapped with the dagger, chuckling softly: "If you don’t speak, I have to act."
"Even if you run away, or are rescued, you’ll no longer be a man."
"I, I... really don’t know." Strong arduously uttered, speaking those words.
Tang Si tilted his head, smiling again: "So what?"
"I also don’t keep people that hold no value to me. You don’t know this, you must know something else, say some useful clues, I might just let you go."
If Strong were a bit smarter, he should have thought of this way, not until losing a finger and waiting for Tang Si to remind him.
"Three..."
Strong: "I know the general location, it should be on top of the yacht."
"And?" Tang Si casually toyed with the dagger: "Continue."
"Who’s the employer, what’s the purpose of coming here? What do they want to do?"
Strong paused for a long while.
"I don’t know who the employer is, it’s anonymous, they only transfer money to me."
